A casual meeting between two neighborhood friends, united by their playful dogs Bella and Willie is where this story begins. In 2007, Clay Hardman CEO of Hardman Signs, recognized there was a shortage of reputable commercial masonry contractors in the Houston area and enlisted the help of Jason Mueller to start Hardman Masonry. The company enjoyed great success early on and was awarded numerous large contracts including their flagship achievement- the Houston Premium Outlet Mall.  The team worked very hard to build a successful business together mustering up enough momentum to weather the storm of the 2008 recession.  By 2011 the company changed its name form Hardman Masonry to Mueller Masonry as Hardman and Mueller agreed to change course, Hardman focusing on Architectural Signs and Mueller specifically on commercial masonry.  Shortly after the transition, Simon Property Group delivered two more great projects to advance the growth of the business; the Houston Premium Outlet Mall Phase 2 and the adjacent Fairfield TownCenter Development across the street.  The company has since completed an estimated 750 commercial projects in Texas and continues to grow and scale.
